MINNEAPOLIS ( – Minnesota held the nation’s top offense to one goal and its lowest shot total of the season as the Gophers  topped Penn State 5-1  Friday at Mariucci Arena.

Chestnut Hill, Mass. ( – In a fitting twist of coincidence, Gopher Hockey head coach Don Lucia earned his 700th career win  Sunday against college hockey’s all-time coaching wins leader.

MINNEAPOLIS ( – Tommy Novak tallied a career-high three points including an extra-attacker goal with 1:17 to play as the No. 13 Gopher Hockey program skated to a 5-5 overtime tie with No. 3 North Dakota at Mariucci Arena.
Two Gophers Win Big Ten Weekly Honors for Hockey
MINNEAPOLIS ( – Two wins from Eric Schierhorn including his first career shutout and a four-point weekend from Michael Brodzinski earned the pair of Gopher Hockey standouts recognition from the Big Ten Conference on Tuesday morning.
