Man Killed in Industrial Accident at Southern Minnesota Business

Mankato, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in Mankato were called Thursday to the scene of a fatal industrial accident.
The Mankato Public Safety Department says police officers and firefighters responded to a commercial building shortly after 9:20 AM and found him unresponsive man on the roof. Reports indicate he was performing repairs when he was fatally injured.

A news release indicates the emergency personnel at the scene could not immediately get to the victim and had to wait until a crew from Xcel Energy confirmed it was safe. The man was already dead when the emergency responders reached him.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office was asked to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The man's name has not been released.
