UPDATE-The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office says it has been informed by authorities on St. Paul that Lauryn has been located and is safe.

St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing teenager who is believed to be in immediate danger.

The Sheriff's Office today posted information concerning 19-year-old Lauryn Tschida. The former Cannon Falls High School student was last seen last weekend in the Twin Cities. The missing person alert on the young woman says she was seen getting into a black SUV outside of the Salvation Army Booth Brown House shelter in St. Paul on November 26.

The Sheriff's Office says she has not contacted anyone in her family since last Sunday, her phone has not been active, and she has not checked in to any of her social media accounts. The alert also says her family recently located her purse, which has raised concerns about her welfare because it's not like her to be without her belongings.

Lauryn is described as white, 5 foot 4, around 150 pounds, with a medium build, blonde hair, and blue eyes. Her description also indicates she has multiple scars on her arms and legs.

Because she was last seen in St. Paul, anyone with information is asked to contact the St. Paul Police Department at 651-291-1111.
