Apparent Drowning in Northern Minnesota
HACKENSACK, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have identified a Montana man who died in an apparent drowning in a northern Minnesota Lake.
The Cass County sheriff's office said Saturday that 49-year-old Peter Keller of Kalispell, Montana was swimming in Ten Mile Lake near Hackensack, Minnesota, when he went under on Tuesday afternoon. KSTP-TV reports that members of his party pulled him from the water and began CPR.
Paramedics arrived and continued to try to resuscitate him but were unsuccessful.
