Winona Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Wounded
WINONA, Minn. (AP) — One man is dead and another is hospitalized after a drive-by shooting outside a Winona bar.
One man has been arrested.
Winona police say they received a call of shots fired at about 1 a.m. Wednesday outside EB's Corner. The two men were in a larger group outside the bar when they were shot.
The 53-year-old man who died was shot in the torso. The 27-year-old man who was injured was shot in the leg and was in stable condition Wednesday. Their names haven't been released.
Police say the suspected shooter drove up to the bar around closing time, spoke to people outside, then left and returned, firing shots at the group. Police are still investigating on Wednesday.
