Fergus Falls, MN (AP) - A Minnesota State Patrol trooper who also serves as a spokesman for the agency has been cited for driving 94 mph in a 55 zone.

Sgt. Jesse Grabow was cited Friday by the Fergus Falls city attorney. A criminal complaint says Grabow was clocked at 94 mph by another state trooper on Highway 210 a little before 7 a.m. on April 28.

Col. Matt Langer, head of the patrol, said in a statement that Grabow was "speeding on duty without cause."

The patrol said Grabow has been temporarily reassigned during an internal investigation.
