Rochester, MN  (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police were called out early Sunday to investigate a driveby shooting.

A spokesman says several 911 calls were received around 3 a.m. from residents living in the 3100 block of Oxford Lane Northwest in the Lincolnshire neighborhood. Two houses were hit multiple times.

Police Captain John Sherwin described one of the homes as a “ problem house “ where a large family lives. He says officers have responded to numerous complaints at the house several times the last few years.

He says three of those who live there jumped into a car and drove off before officers arrived, trying to find the vehicle the shots were fired from.  Officers later spotted and stopped their car, thinking it was the vehicle involved in the shooting.

Sherwin says so far, the three have not been cooperative and no arrests have been made.
