Two Killed in Vehicle-Train Collision in Central MN

PAYNESVILLE, Minn. (AP) — Two people are dead after their vehicle collided with a freight train in central Minnesota.

The Kandiyohi County sheriff's office says the vehicle collided with a Canadian Pacific train about 3 p.m. Saturday at an intersection just west of Paynesville.

Authorities say the two people in the vehicle died at the scene. Their names have not been released.
