Kansas City, MO (Learfield Wire Service)  The Minnesota Timberwolves went on a 39-17 run in the third quarter of their Saturday exhibition game against Miami.

That wiped out a 19-point deficit and eventually led to a 109-100 victory at Kansas City's Sprint Center. Minnesota was good from long range, connecting on ten of 23 three pointers. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 20 points and Andrew Wiggins added 19. The reserves preserved the lead in the final period.
