Timberwolves Beaten By Playoff-Hungry Jazz 98-85
Salt Lake City, UT (Learfield) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves will play a big role in determining which N-B-A Western Conference teams make the playoffs.
The Utah Jazz beat the Wolves Friday 98-85.
The Jazz, the Dallas Mavericks and the Houston Rockets are all scrambling for the two final playoff slots and the Wolves play all three in the last six games of the season. Andrew Wiggins led Minnesota with 24 points at Utah. Karl-Anthony Towns added 17, most of them during a third-quarter rally that cut the Utah lead to one point.
