The Legal Eagle: A Class Action Lawsuit for Disturbing a Flight?

The Legal Eagle returned to KROC-AM Monday as David Shulman joined Andy Brownell for the Rochester Today show.

David brought his decades of experience as an attorney to the studio and fielded numerous calls from people seeking clarity about legal issues they are facing, including questions about their estates, setting up a trust, or even whether the people who been causing disturbances on airliners could be sued by other passengers.

Shulman also took a call from a man who contacted the show a few months ago as his daughter was preparing to leave for college. He was concerned about her signing a lease that might leave her liable for additional rent if one of her roommates decided to leave. To make a long story short, one of the young woman's roommates backed out on the living arrangement, and because the caller had followed David's suggestion and requested that an amendment to the lease that protected his daughter, she is not being asked to pay any additional rent to cover the landlords shortfall.
