Support Pours In For Century Student After Fatal MN Accident

My heart has been hurting since 7:30 pm on Saturday, October 7th. That is when I saw a note from Century High School in Rochester, Minnesota that stated a student had passed away earlier that day in a tragic car accident. There weren't any other details but I know I drove by the accident that afternoon with my own child who is about the same age. Turns out, my child actually knew him. According to the latest info from the Sheriff's office, the student was 16-year-old Davin Tukua.

On Sunday, a note started circulating around social media letting people know that a GoFundMe was set up for the family of Davin Tukua, the Century High School student in Rochester who was killed in the car accident. According to the GoFundMe page, the funds will be used for these unexpected funeral expenses.

Davin was an incredible young man: an amazing son and brother, an adventurous cousin, kind, gentle & fun with his younger cousins and a wonderful friend to so many people. His bright smile and energy always lit up a room.
Davin will forever be in our hearts and everyone else's heart that he touched with his bright light. His memory will forever be cherished as a bright light extinguished far too soon.
