Storm Still Affecting Southeast Minnesota
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Moderate to heavy snow will continue across portions of southeast Minnesota along and north of Interstate 90 for the next few hours with additional possible totals of more than 3 inches.
As of 5 a.m., roads are completely covered with snow across southeast Minnesota. MNDOT is advising against any travel in SE Minnesota until later this morning. The snow intensified in the Rochester area around 4 this morning and cut visibility to near zero, even in the city. Storm snow totals were in excess of 8 inches in Olmsted County as of 5 a.m. The Rochester airport had received nearly 5 inches of snow through midnight.
