The other vehicle was passing another car in a no-passing zone when it caused the collision.

Riese was reported in good condition this morning. The St. Paul man driving the other car is in fair condition. A passenger in his car was apparently discharged over the weekend.

The third vehicle involved in the wreck ended up in a ditch. Its occupants were not seriously hurt.
