St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minnesota’s tax revenues totaled over $1.43 billion dollars in August.

State officials say that was $113 million, or about 8.5-percent, above the level predicted by the most recent state revenue forecast from late February. The revenues from the three major revenue categories: individual income tax, sales tax, and corporate taxes receipts, each exceeded projections by $34 to $37 million last month.

Since the start of the fiscal year on July 1st, state revenues are running $143 million, or 6.2-percent, ahead of projections.
