Captain Sherwin says they stopped in front of the home while Jones was standing outside and the two men began arguing. The shot was fired after the victim approached the vehicle. He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital and underwent surgery. At last report, he was listed in critical, but stable condition.

Olveda was later located at a mobile home park in Stewartville, and after a brief standoff, he was arrested and transported to the Olmsted County Jail. Captain Sherwin says he is being held on suspicion of 2nd Degree Attempted Murder, Driveby Shooting and weapons related charges.
