Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Malinda Hanson said the suspected drug was taken on Monday when members of the sheriff’s office and Southeast Minnesota Violent Crimes Enforcement Team executed a search warrant.

Hanson identified the target of the search warrant as 44-year-old Dennis Cortez Siggers. Law enforcement stopped a vehicle he was driving back to his residence and detained him prior to the raid shortly after 5 p.m.

Hanson said a 40-year-old woman and two elementary aged children exited the home in the 3900 block of 18th Ave. Northwest in Rochester before investigators moved in.

The search of the residence led to the discovery of a brick of suspected cocaine that weighed out to one kilogram. There were also cash bounds found inside of the residence and Siggers had currency on him, Hanson said.
