In 1923, the world welcomed legendary figures like Bob Barker, Ed McMahon, and Hank Williams. That same year, Calvin Coolidge made history by becoming the first president to address the nation on the radio, and the price of gas was 14 cents per gallon. It was also the first year of operation for one of Minnesota's oldest businesses.

Throughout the past century, House Chevrolet has remained a family-owned and operated business, making it one of the oldest in Minnesota. Four generations of the House family have dedicated their lives to the company and the communities it serves.

To mark this major milestone, a special event is scheduled for Saturday, October 21st. It's an opportunity for the owners to thank their loyal customers who've supported them throughout the years.

House Chevrolet’s "Celebrating 100 Years" event is Saturday, Oct. 21 from 1-4 PM at their dealership on Main Street in Stewartville. The festivities will include music, food, games, and prizes.

“We owe our success to our loyal customers, dedicated employees, and the strong relationships we have built with our community. As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, we look forward to continuing to serve our customers with the same dedication and commitment that has been the cornerstone of our business for the past century” - Greg House
