Minneapolis, MN -  (Minnesota News Network)  --  Police believe the two young men suspected of raping a University of Minnesota student inside her dorm room may not be strangers.

Officials say the victim reported she was attacked early Sunday in Sanford Hall. One of the men allegedly threatened the woman with a knife before both sexually assaulted her.

U of M police say the case is no longer being investigated as a stranger sexual assault.

No arrests have been made.
