St. Paul, MN (Learfield Wire Services) - The Minnesota Commerce Department reports a statewide inspection of gas pumps last month turned up nine hidden credit card skimmers at gas stations.

Inspectors checked nearly 8,500 credit card readers on pumps at more than 1,000 stations.

All of the illegal skimmers were found on pumps along the Interstate 90 and Interstate 35 corridors in the southern part of the Twin Cities.
