GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) — A Minnesota hunter has been sentenced to five years in prison for killing a 14-year-old boy hunting on western Colorado's Grand Mesa last fall.

The Daily Sentinel reports that Guy Pohto of Cook was sentenced Wednesday in Grand Junction after pleading guilty in January to manslaughter and hunting in a careless manner in the death of Justin Burns of Palisade.

Burns was bow hunting with his father when was shot in the chest in September.
