Man Killed by Train in Northwest Minnesota
MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) — A man has been killed after he was hit by a train in Moorhead.
Police say the incident happened about 2:15 a.m. Saturday.
WDAY-TV reports that the man's body was found on the tracks near J.C. Chumley's bar and restaurant. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities believe he might have been stationary on the tracks when the train hit him.
An autopsy is being conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.
His name has not been released.
