Lynx Release 2, Preparing For Season Opener

Minneapolis, MN (Learfield)  --  The Minnesota Lynx released two guards Friday while the team continues its preparations for the W-N-B-A season opener a week from tonight.  

Five-foot-seven Nike Baric and six-footer Courtney Clements were cut.   The Lynx are in Rochester today, practicing at the Mayo Civic Center.

Following Practice, the Lynx will host an exclusive youth basketball clinic with the Timberwolves and Lynx Basketball Academy at Mayo Civic Center.  It’ll be held from 2 to 4 this afternoon for boys and girls grades 3 - 8.

Tickets for the clinic can be purchased at timberwolvesbasketballacademy.com and includes a ticket to the Lynx exhibition game at Mayo Civic Center Sunday (5/8), a ticket voucher to the Lynx home opener against Phoenix on May 14, Lynx player autographs following the clinic and other Lynx prizes.
