(Uncasville, CT) -- The Minnesota Lynx added three new players through the W-N-B-A Draft last night. The Lynx did not have a first round pick.

They chose guard Jazmon Gwathmey out of James Madison and Tennessee forward Bashaara Graves in the second round.

The Lynx then selected center Temi Fagbenle out of USC in the third round. Minnesota traded Gwathmey to San Antonio in exchange for All-Star guard Jia Perkins.

The Lynx open the regular season May 14th.

Banham Goes Fourth Overall

(Uncasville, CT) -- University of Minnesota star basketball player Rachel Banham of Lakeville was chosen as the fourth overall pick in the 2016 W-N-B-A Draft by the Connecticut Sun.

Banham was a first-team all-American for the Golden Gophers this past season. She became the school's all-time leading scorer, and the Big Ten Conference's all-time leading scorer.
