MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Lynx will celebrate their WNBA championship with a parade and party on Friday.

The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. at 12th and Hennepin Ave. and winds its way to the Target Center where a celebration begins at 12:15 p.m. The event is free.

The Lynx captured their third championship in the last five seasons with a 69-52 win Wednesday night over the Indiana Fever in Game 5 of the 2015 WNBA Finals.

Prince serenaded the Lynx at Paisley Park where the championship celebration lasted until early hours Thursday.
