ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Gov. Mark Dayton has celebrated the start of his second term at a low-key inaugural ball.

Dayton was dressed casually in jeans and a shirt with sleeves rolled up at Saturday night's ball at the newly renovated Union Depot in downtown St. Paul.

The Star Tribune reports Dayton thanked his supporters before introducing new Lt. Gov. Tina Smith.

Several hundred gathered to celebrate the Dayton victory. Tickets cost $25 each, or $15 for students.

State Auditor Rebecca Otto, new Secretary of State Steve Simon and a handful of legislators and cabinet members attended.

The Governor's Inaugural Committee will report its contributions and expenses by July 31.
