Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Eyota man accused of secretly recording videos of a young girl in her bedroom and bathroom has worked out a tentative plea agreement with Olmsted County prosecutors.

A petition to enter a guilty plea was filed today in Olmsted County Court in the case of 42-year-old Justin William White. He was charged in September with felony and gross misdemeanor counts of interference with privacy. Under the terms of the proposed plea deal, White has agreed to enter a guilty plea to the gross misdemeanor charge in exchange for the dismissal of the felony offense. The agreement calls for a sentence of probation and a $900 fine with no additional time in jail.

According to the criminal complaint, the young victim found a camera hidden on a bookshelf in her bedroom in May of last year. The court document only describes her as being under the age of 15.

The charges say investigators later learned that White had been staying at the victim's residence prior to the discovery of the camera and recordings captured by the device show White setting it up in the young girl's bedroom and then manipulating it to face a shower in the home's bathroom.

The criminal complaint says White gave a statement to investigators during which he admitted placing the camera in the bedroom and bathroom and recording 15 videos. At least one of the videos depicted the young victim undressing in the bathroom.

A plea hearing to finalize the plea agreement has yet to be scheduled.
