Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Mayo Clinic is teaming up with the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department and the Olmsted Medical Center to host another drug take-back event on Saturday.

Anyone with unused prescription medications is invited to drop them off, no questions asked, at the patient drop off area on the west entrance to the Mayo Clinic’s Gonda Building from 10 AM until 2 PM. The event was organized as part of National Drug to Take Back Day.

A similar drop off opportunity in April resulted in the collection of over 1100 pounds of unused medications that were properly disposed of by law enforcement officials.
