Danger of Minnesota Wildfires Grows
Undated (KROC AM News) -There have been numerous grass and other wildfires breaking out across parts of northern Minnesota in recent days due to the combination of warm, windy and dry weather conditions. And there is no short-term relief.
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the entire state of Minnesota and a large part of western Wisconsin through this evening due to conditions that are ideal for fast-moving wildfires.
The threat of wildfires also continues in North Dakota where the governor has issued an emergency order for the entire state through the end of the month, allowing the National Guard to be activated if needed.
