High School Section Baseball Begins Thursday

(KROC AM Sports) -- The section one class 3A high school baseball brackets have been released. Games begin this Thursday (5/21) at the higher seed's field.

The top four seeds get a bye the first round. Northfield is the top seed in the section, followed by John Marshall, Red Wing and Farmington.
Rochester Century is seeded fifth and hosts 12th seed Faribault this Thursday. Mayo is the 6th seed and is at home against number 11 Hastings. All first round games start at 5 o'clock. The Section tournament champion will be crowned on Saturday at Red Wing.

Rochester Lourde is the number one seed in Section one 2A and plays Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Thursday

Chatfield is the top seed in Class A section one.
