Century Falls in Section Volleyball

The Century Panthers were defeated by Lakeville North 3-1 in the section 1 Class 3A volleyball tournament.

Lakeville South also won over Farmington setting up an intra-city section championship.

In Class 2A, P-E-M beat St. Charles 3-0 in the section 1 east subsection championship while Kasson-Mantorville upended Stewartville 3-2 in the west subsection title game.  The section championship for 2 and 3A will take place on Saturday at the Mayo Civic Center.

In Class A, Caledonia won the east subsection title game over Mabel Canton 3-0 and will face Hayfield, a 3-1 winner over Bethlehem Academy, on Saturday in Rochester.
