Burnsville, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol has released the names of the two people who died in a traffic wreck in the Twin Cities Monday that occurred during a police chase.

The pursuit began around 8 p.m. in Apple Valley after an officer saw the driver of a minivan driving aggressively. It was also learned the vehicle had apparently been involved in a hit-and-run in Savage. The chase ended several minutes later when the van collided with an SUV in Burnsville.

The driver of the SUV was killed. She has been identified as 39-year-old Aida Sevilla O'Campo of Burnsville.

The State Patrol says the driver of the van also crashed into two power poles and the lines landed on his vehicle, starting a fire. The Patrol says the man died as a result of the crash and fire. He has been identified as 22-year-old Matthew Vogel of Bloomington.
