Body of Minnesota Drowning Victim Recovered
LITTLE CANADA, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say divers have recovered the body of a man who went missing while swimming in a lake north of St. Paul.
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office says the man went missing in Gervais Lake in Little Canada around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Sgt. John Eastham said authorities got a call that two men were swimming across the lake, and that one of them made it across and saw the other was gone.
A search for the man came up empty Saturday, and his body was found Sunday. His identity was not immediately released.
