16 Injured in Van Rollover Near Cannon Falls

Emergency responders in Goodhue County had their hands full Wednesday afternoon when an extended passenger van transporting farm workers crashed near Cannon Falls. A spokesperson for the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Department says 16 people were transported to the Northfield Hospital, where one was admitted, and 9 others were transferred to hospitals in the Twin Cities for treatment of more serious injuries. The other 6 people were treated and released.

The crash occurred around 1 p.m. when the driver of the van lost control navigating a curve on a gravel road and the vehicle rolled over.
