130 Points and Timberwolves Still Lose
Houston, TX (Learfield) – The Houston Rockets launched 58 long-range shots, hitting 22 in a 142-130 win over Minnesota Saturday night in Texas.
Karl-Anthony Towns had 37 points and 22 rebounds, while Andrew Wiggins scored 30. Wiggins has scored at least 20 points in 17 straight games, but it wasn’t enough to earn the victory. The Timberwolves kept battling back, but weren’t able to grab control of the fast-paced game from Houston.
Minnesota plays at Sacramento in a late game tomorrow (Monday) night.
