There was another fatal traffic wreck in Minnesota over the weekend.

The State Patrol says 66 year old Diane Evenson of Minneapolis was killed Saturday afternoon in Owatonna.The Patrol says a car driving north on I-35 went through the median and crashed into Evenson’s vehicle.The other driver was not seriously hurt.

The Minnesota Public Safety Department reported last Monday it had confirmed 13 traffic fatalities around the state during February.There have been several more since then, including one south of Stewartville on Wednesday that killed a man from Le Roy.

The Public Safety Department says there were just nine fatalities recorded in the state during all of January.

A man was seriously hurt this morning after being hit by a car in Moorhead.The State Patrol says 22 year old Tristan Dozier was walking on or along I-94 around 5:30 a.m. when he was struck by a car that was entering the freeway.

The Patrol isn’t sure why Dozier was on foot in that area.
