ANOKA, Minn. (AP) — Prosecutors say a Twin Cities-area woman told police that she fatally stabbed her boyfriend and had her 11-year-old daughter mop up his blood.

Thirty-year-old Artiesha Areatha Love of Blaine is charged with first-degree manslaughter in the death of 29-year-old Gregory Stallone Stewart. She made her first court appearance Thursday.

According to authorities, Love told police that Stallone came to her apartment drunk Monday evening and the two got into a fight. She said he knocked out her front tooth and that she then stabbed him twice in front of one of her daughters.

Police say Love told her older daughter to clean up the blood and take out the trash, which had the knife in it.
