Wild Tie Score In 3rd Period, Lose In Shootout 3-2
Calgary, AB (Learfield) -- Mikko Koivu scored a game-tying goal in the third period, but the Minnesota Wild lost in a shootout at Calgary 3-2 Friday.
Some parts of the third straight loss for the Wild were pretty ugly -- twice they failed to get a shot off while playing with a man advantage. On the good side, Goalie Devan Dubnyk made two saves in overtime while the Flames had a power play going. Sean Monahan's score in the shootout gave Calgary the win.
The Wild stay on the road in Canada with a game tomorrow (Sunday) night in Edmonton.
