Minneapolis, MN (Learfield Wire Services) - A Hennepin County judge has sentenced a woman to a 25-year prison term for stabbing another woman to death in a parking garage last summer.

Twenty-one-year-old Ivory Andis cried at her sentencing hearing Friday, apologizing to the victim's family.

Prosecutors told the court Andis followed 44-year-old Dargenella Wade into the 9th Street Parking Garage in downtown Minneapolis last June and stabbed her several times.

The two women had been arguing shortly before the fatal attack.
