Timberwolves Can’t Hold Lead, Drop 95-85 Decision To Bucks
Minneapolis, MN (Learfield sports) -- Center Greg Monroe scored 19 points and took down 10 rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks wiped out a 17-point Minnesota lead on the way to a 95-85 win Saturday night.
Bucks guard O-J Mayo was apologizing for his actions after drawing two technical fouls and an ejection in the first quarter, before being pushed off the court by his coaches and security officials.
The Timberwolves led 22-5 in that period, but the lead was down to three by halftime. Milwaukee outscored the Wolves 51-38 in the second half and Minnesota was able to connect on less than 40 percent of its shots. The Timberwolves are on the road Monday at Philadelphia.
