Rochester Today – Tune in for Tim Penny on Tuesday

Former First District Congressman Tim Penny will appear with Andy Brownell Tuesday morning during the Rochester Today Show on KROC-AM.

Tim, who is the President and CEO of the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, will update KROC listeners on the activities of the philanthropic group, which focuses on job creation and early childhood development.

His semi-regular appearances on KROC-AM also provide Andy with an opportunity to "pick his brain" about current events in our nation, particularly those dealing with our ongoing federal budget deficits and mounting national debt. Penny was considered a budget hawk during his time in Congress and has continued to be involved in efforts to raise awareness about our country's long-term budget nightmare and to find solutions.
