Deadly Logging Accident in Northern Minnesota
COOK, Minn. (AP) — A logging accident has killed a 52-year-old man in northern Minnesota.
The St. Louis County sheriff's office says Scott Thomas of Cook was logging in a section of woods about seven miles west of Cook when a large tree he had been cutting with a chain saw fell on top of him.
The accident was reported about 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Thomas died at the scene.
