Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A former Rochester state lawmaker has decided to run for his seat again after a 10 year retirement.

Fran Bradley Wednesday formally launched his campaign for the District 25B seat.

It has been held by Kim Norton since Bradley retired in 2006. Bradley was elected to the seat in 1995. Norton has decided not to run for a new term.

In a statement announcing his candidacy for the Republican Party endorsement, Bradley said: “ My skills and experience give me the opportunity to quickly make a positive experience. “

A retired Rochester business owner and realtor announced last November his plans to seek the Norton seat. Duane Sauke said he would  seek the DFL Party endorsement for the House seat.
