Area Teen Injured in Jeep-Tractor Collision Near Dodge Center

Dodge Center, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Austin teenager was transported to St. Marys Hospital following a traffic crash involving a piece of farm machinery in Dodge County this morning.

The State Patrol says 19-year-old Teagan Sutter was driving a Jeep that crashed into the back of a tractor as it was traveling north on Highway 56 about 2 miles south of Dodge Center. The collision occurred shortly before 10:30 AM when the driver of the tractor slowed down for a stationary vehicle on the right shoulder of the highway.

Sutter was brought to St. Marys Hospital with what the State Patrol described as non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the tractor, 58-year-old Scott Gilbertson of Dexter, was not injured.
