Blaine, MN (KROC-AM News)- Minnesota authorities are investigating an apparent fatal double-shooting that appeared to have occurred near a well-known Minnesota golf course.

The case began when police in the Twin Cities responded to the report of two unconscious individuals in a vehicle.

The call for service came in around noon on Wednesday. 

A news release issued by the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says members of the Blaine Police Department found the vehicle in a parking lot just south of the TPC Twin Cities Golf Course in Blaine.

First responders found a man and woman dead of apparent gunshot wounds inside of the vehicle.

Officials say investigators are currently not looking for any suspects and there is no danger to the public.

No other information regarding the apparent deadly shooting has been released. The names of the man and woman will be released upon confirmation by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office, the news release says. 

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, Blaine Police Department and Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office are conducting the death investigation.
