Young Minnesota Girl Killed in Hit and Run

GARRISON, Minn. (AP) —The Minnesota State Patrol says a hit-and-run crash has killed a 10-year-old girl as she walked along a highway in east-central Minnesota.

The patrol says the crash happened just before 8 p.m. Friday on State Highway 18 near Mille Lacs Lake in Aitkin County. The patrol on Saturday identified the victim as Caylin Donovan of Lake Park.

Investigators say they would like to talk to the driver of a white Ford pickup pulling a white fifth-wheel camper with black trim who was in the area and may have seen the crash.
