Northfield, MN (KROC-AM News) - A young woman from Minneapolis was outside of her car when she was struck and killed by another vehicle on I-35 near Northfield on Friday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 22-year-old Callista Boe had lost control of her car and crashed into the median guard cable on the freeway and was hit by the second car after she climbed out of her vehicle.

The two other occupants of Boe's car were treated for non-life threatening injuries, while a passenger in the other car was not hurt.
