Winter Closings and Delays for December 2nd, 2018

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area until noon on Sunday, December 2nd.  Up to 6 inches of snow and ice accumulations of one-tenth of an inch is expected along with wind gusts of up to 40 mph.  You are warned to stay off the roads, stay inside, and listen to your favorite radio station (shameless plug).

Church of the Resurrection, Rochester: Perpetual Adoration will be closed from until 12:30 p.m. Sunday
City of Byron: Snow Emergency declared effective until 6pm Sunday. No street parking allowed.
City of Chatfield: Snow emergency declared; city crews will be out plowing streets Sunday; Please remove vehicles from city streets to avoid being ticketed and towed
City of Mason City: Alternate Side Parking Ordinance and Emergency Snow Route in effect until further notice; No parking is allowed on 1st Street NW from Monroe Avenue to Pierce Avenue until further notice
Evanger Lutheran Church, Sargeant: Services and Sunday school canceled for Sunday, Dec 2nd.
Immaculate Conception Church, rural Kellogg: Sunday Mass canceled for Dec. 2 (8:30 am)
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Mason City: Sunday Service canceled.
Rochester Elks Lodge: Elks Memorial service Sunday December 2nd is postponed to Sunday December 9.
Trinity Evangelical Free Church, Plainview: Sunday School is canceled for Dec 2nd.
Trinity Lutheran Church of West Concord: No Worship or Sunday School.
Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City: Sunday 8:15 AM service has been canceled.
West Concord United Methodist Church: Sunday services canceled.
