Minnesota (10-8, 1-4 Big Ten) and Michigan (15-4, 4-1 Big Ten) both started the game on a high scoring pace, but the Wolverines began to pull away midway through the first quarter.

Wagner’s point total was the highest by a Gopher since Rachel Banham scored 48 against Milwaukee last March 16. The junior’s seven 13 field goals and 3-pointers were new career highs. She added a team-high eight rebounds.

Minnesota will face Illinois at home on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m.

The Gophers’ game against Northwestern, which was postponed this past week, has been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. at Williams Arena.
