EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings head into the last day of the NFL draft armed with six picks in the final four rounds.

The Vikings have a fourth-rounder, a fifth-rounder and two picks each in the sixth and seventh rounds on Saturday. Vikings GM Rick Spielman says the excess picks give him the ability to try to trade up if he sees a player available that the team covets.

The Vikings drafted Ole Miss receiver Laquon Treadwell in the first round on Thursday, then took Clemson cornerback Mackensie Alexander in the second round on Friday.

Spielman traded their third-round pick to the Dolphins for Miami's sixth-rounder in this year's draft and picks in the third and fourth rounds next year.
